Priority Waste discounts available

We got our invoice this week in our email from Priority Waste for trash pickup. The bill reflected a discount of a dollar a month for senior customers. However, I was a bit surprised to see that our bill was only for 3 months even though we always paid the previous services (GFL, Richmond, etc.) for a full year up front.

I called Priority Waste to inquire because, in the past, the waste management companies offered a discount for paying for a full year instead of quarterly. (Last July, Priority Waste took over the GFL contracts agreeing to no changes in services provided or discount offers.)

I think that the flyer the rep sent me (attached below) should have been included with the invoice mailing.

The Priority rep told me that there was indeed a discount if you pay up front for 12 months. He sent me an email right away that explained the deal. The current rates are shown below.

• Quarterly Rate – $67.08 (equal to $268.32 per year)
• Annual Rate – $248.28
• Senior Annual Rate – $236.28
