New bookstore coming to West Bloomfield
Michigan-based Schuler Books announces a new location coming to West Bloomfield. The store is projected to open in April 2023. Schuler Books is one of the nation’s largest local, independent bookseller. The chain was established 40 years ago and has stores are located in Grand Rapids, Okemos, and Ann Arbor.
Located in the Gateway Center at 7260 Orchard Lake Road, the 19,000 square foot general interest bookstore will carry all genres. It will feature childrens and used book sections. Author events will be held with seating for up to 200 people. The store will also carry stationery, gifts, games, puzzles, and toys. Due to the Whole Foods and Starbucks nearby, this location will not have a Chapbook Cafe, a feature found in their other stores.
