Pothole reminder: File a report!
You’ve likely noticed the potholes in our streets if you’ve driven, walked, or biked through our neighborhood any time in the last few weeks. You can take action by filing a pothole report with the Road Commission of Oakland County (RCOC). It’s easy and does result in potholes being patched.
RCOC will patch potholes in our neighborhood. RCOC patrols county road to maintain safe conditions. But it helps if residents report the locations of potholes since they have over 1,700 miles of roadway to maintain.
File a report. — Don’t assume that someone else has already reported a particular road hazard. In fact, reports by multiple people may help RCOC prioritize conditions that need attention.
All you need to do is the give your contact information and the location and type of condition needing attention. You don’t have to be a resident from the neighborhood where the condition is located.
