Did you get our KNIA newsletter?

I just pushed the button to send the first email newsletter of 2019. If you didn’t get it, then we don’t have your email address. (Or maybe it landed in your junk mail folder by accident. If that’s the case, you may need to whitelist our sending email address — webguy@knhome.org.)

This newsletter covers these topics —

  • Our Kimberley North Annual Meeting Annual Meeting coming on May 15th.
  • The spring Household Hazardous Waste Event on Saturday, April 13.
  • Keeping our neighborhood looking good.
  • Proposed development for Eagle School — Community meeting on April 5th.

If you didn’t get the newsletter, you can sign up on this website at knhome.org/newsletter. You can also unsubscribe or change your email address from that page.

For most years, we’ve only published this newsletter once or twice a year. Usually I intend to do more but I need feedback to find out who is interested and what topics they want to see covered. It would be helpful (and motivational to me) if residents submitted content — news, events, how-to tips, resources, photos, or other good stuff. You can contact me at webguy@knhome.org. Be sure to include a name and phone number so I can follow up with you.

With your support, we can have a newsletter that’s interesting, relevant, and fun to read. And at least more often — maybe even quarterly to start.

Frequently Asked Questions — about the newsletter

Why do we need a newsletter if we have a website?

Everyone has different preferences and habits. Some may not think to look at the website to find information they want. They might prefer that important information is “pushed” to them. In many cases, an email newsletter can be more likely to get noticed.

Why not give more information in the newsletter instead of making us go to a website for more details?

The newsletter is intended to be brief. Some topics may not be of interest to everyone. By clicking on a link, people who are interested can easily get more details. Those who are not interested don’t have to wade through much detail they find unnecessary. Also, the information on the website is more permanent — like a repository where people can go any time of the day. It’s easy to overlook, delete, or misplace an email.
