Public hearing – Proposed senior living & self-storage facilities on 14 Mile Road

Important Information for KNIA Residents

A Missouri-based company, NorthPoint Development, is proposing to build two large structures on the south side of 14 Mile Road, west of the Country Glen Condominiums, extending to the corner of Northwestern Highway, across from Heather Heath.

One building is a 3-story, 99 bed, assisted living/memory care facility called Stonecrest Senior Living. The second building is a 3-story, 691-unit storage facility called Beyond Self Storage.

The builder also proposes a road connecting Northwestern Highway to 14 Mile Road in order to access both facilities.

There will be a Public Hearing at the Farmington Hills Planning Commission’s meeting on Thursday, April 19th at 7:30 pm at the Farmington Hills City Hall, 31555 W. Eleven Mile Road, (corner of Orchard Lake Road) Anyone from the public can attend, and if so desired, speak for up to 3 minutes.

Please attend the Public Hearing to learn more about the proposed development and give your feedback/opinion to the Planning Commission.
