Boil water advisory has been lifted for West Bloomfield. However, homeowners should follow further precautions must be taken before resuming normal use of water.

Precautions involve flushing out water already in your pipes, hot water tanks, furnace humidifiers, water softeners, and appliances like dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, ice makers, portable humidifiers, plus CPAP machines or other medical equipment. You will need to remove faucet aerators before flushing out your pipes and then clean and reinstall aerators.
