Spring is in the air and it’s time for the annual Apple Island Tours!
Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18, 2014
- pontoon boat ride on Orchard Lake
- docent-led group tour of the island
- speak with Native American storytellers and find out more of what the Western Michigan University archaeology team has been learning about Apple Island’s history.
Tours begin at the Orchard Lake Museum at 11 a.m. and the last tour group leaves the Museum at 3:30 p.m. Allow 2.5 – 3 hours round trip.
Tickets can be purchased only on tour days, in person, at the Museum. Visit our web site for more information and Tour Tips. Please note: children must at least 5 years old.
