14 Mile Road construction update

Major road construction at 14 Mile Road and Heather Heath is scheduled to begin in a few months.

Representatives of the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) will be attending our  2014 Kimberley North Annual Meeting on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Warner Upper Elementary School. (A notice was mailed to your home address in early January from John P. Carroll Company.)

The RCOC representatives will be discussing the latest plans for the intersection, dates and locations of road closures, and the effects upon Kimberly North. Drawings of the area will be on display. Also to be discussed is how this project will coordinate with the 14 mile/Orchard Lake Road roundabout to be built this year.

Please attend this meeting since it will specifically geared for homeowners of Kimberly North. Other meetings that RCOC may have as construction nears will be of a more general nature and will not center around the 14 mile Heather Heath project.

This project includes rerouting 14 Mile Road south to join Northwestern Highway and the permanent closure of the existing section of 14 Mile Road between Heather Heath and Northwestern.
