New waste collection service

Starting November 12, 2012, Rizzo Environmental Services will be providing all waste and recycling service within the township. There will no change in service levels, costs or collection days. The only difference noticed will be the color of, and the name on, the garbage and recycling trucks.

Residents will continue to receive unlimited trash, recycling and yard waste collection and disposal as well as unlimited bulk item collection (i.e. furniture and appliances). Waste and recycling collection days remain the same; that is, if your trash and recycling was collected Monday it will still be collected on Monday.

Residents will continue to have full access to the Rewards for Recycling Program and their existing account. Rewards for Recycling provides residents with valuable coupons and gift cards to local stores and shops for placing recycling materials at the curb. Over the last year, this program has increased participation by 70% and increased collected volumes by 250%.
